Aegus Contracting and Engineering is committed to the Health and Safety of all its workers as well as those that may come in contact with the works of the company. There is no situation or task wherein health and safety is not the foremost priority to the company. Aegus is committed to continuously improving our Health and Safety System by regularly monitoring and auditing the system and associated records.
The intent of the Aegus policy is to create a working environment wherein health and safety is not just a goal but an ingrained constitution within the ranks of its workforce. In this regard, Aegus will endeavor to develop, implement and evaluate our Health and Safety program to be as effective as possible.
Workers, employees and supervisors are empowered to bring forward instances wherein they may not feel they are properly trained and/or do not feel confident that their health and safety is guaranteed. Aegus acknowledges that raising such concerns or issues is not only in the best interest of the worker but also in the best interest of Aegus. It is in the best interest of all parties to consider health and safety in undertaking any activity, and it is everyone’s responsibility to do so.
All workers (employee, subcontractor, supervisor, management) must adhere to the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations made under that Act.
Health and safety is not simply a goal, health and safety is a way of living.
